Dr Alice Lu has been serving the Brisbane Tzu Chi community for over 24 years. Driven by compassion, she has dedicated her career to bringing people and resources together to improve healthcare and strengthen community services. She played an active role in Tzu Chi's Tara and Toowoomba Medical Outreach programs before helping establish Tzu Chi's Integrative Community Health & Wellness Centre in Brisbane.
As a volunteer dentist and community health advocate, Dr Lu prioritises trust, understanding, and genuine human connection. Her patient-centred approach focuses on helping people feel respected, supported, and empowered to take charge of their health.

Throughout her career, Dr Lydia See has worked to make dental care more accessible for those facing the greatest barriers. As a Specialist in Special Needs Dentistry, she supports individuals with compassion, respect, and understanding through her volunteer service at Tzu Chi's Integrative Community Health & Wellness Centre.
To better serve patients with diverse needs, Dr See pursued advanced training in geriatric and special needs dentistry. She completed a Master of Geriatric Dentistry at the University of Southern California, a Diploma in Special Care Dentistry with The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Special Needs Dentistry) at the University of Queensland.
Dr See has a particular interest in supporting people with complex medical conditions, intellectual disabilities, dental anxiety, a history of head and neck cancer, and older adults requiring additional care and support. She believes that every person deserves to receive healthcare in an environment where they feel safe, respected, and valued.
Working with Tzu Chi, Dr See is proud to contribute her expertise in support of compassionate, community-focused healthcare.
